Typical of the Vampirella trays is their self-absorbent construction. Moisture escaping from the product is directed through fine openings in the base area into the interior of the tray and bound there. As a result, an additional absorbent pad can be dispensed with in many applications. This makes packaging easier and at the same time supports a clean, sales-friendly presentation.
Meat trays for fresh products with a short best-before date
With their dimensions of 290 x 210 x 32 mm, the Vampirella XPS trays offer a generous support surface for larger or wider portions of fresh produce. They are suitable, among other things, for chicken pieces, chicken breast, schnitzels, steaks, pre-cut meat, marinated meat, minced meat portions, fish fillets or other fresh products with a short shelf life. Thanks to the balanced height of 32 mm, the contents remain securely in the tray and can be presented neatly.
The material consists of foamed polystyrene / XPS and impresses with its low weight combined with a stable design. This keeps the foam trays easy to handle in daily use and yet resilient. In combination with stretch film or suitable sealing solutions, a professional self-service packaging for fresh food sales is created.
