The self-service tray is made of foamed polystyrene (XPS) and is designed as self-absorbent self-service packaging. Through fine openings in the inner tray base, escaping liquids enter the material structure, where they are absorbed and bound. As a result, no additional absorbent pad is required in many applications. This simplifies handling and supports a clean product presentation.
With dimensions of 270 x 175 x 25 mm, the Vampirella meat tray offers a longer support surface and is well suited for various fresh meat products as well as other sensitive foods with a short shelf life. The lower height of 25 mm is particularly practical when products are to be packed clearly and compactly. Depending on the application, the tray can be wrapped with stretch film or sealed with flow-pack bags.
